Charlotte Lucas’s love for design started at an early age, learning to appreciate the impact of color, pattern and detail from her mother, also a designer. Her childhood was in many ways a design tutorial—spent in antique stores, flea markets, fabric stores, and showrooms across the Southeast. A graduate of the Interior Design program at the University of Georgia, Charlotte worked as a designer in Washington, DC, until revisiting her North Carolina roots, where she had the opportunity to work with talented local designers. In 2012, Charlotte started her own design firm and has since worked on projects throughout the Southeast.
Charlotte draws inspiration from her clients and their homes, integrating antiques and family heirlooms into new designs and always being mindful that minor details can create major impact. She focuses on providing perfectly proportioned rooms and one-of-a-kind, customized designs for each client.
