I am originally from Central Anatolian region of Turkey where handmade rugs and kilims are part of the culture and the heritage. My parents have been trading handmade rugs for decades.

I grew up in a house where these beautiful hand made pieces of art were decorating every corner and loved their unique designs and natural colors. Turkish rugs and kilims are stitched by talented hands at home in villages and products of months of hard work.

I've been in Pacific Northwest area for more than a decade and Asil Decor was born with my desire to share these art works with everyone around the world.
