A southern Virginia native, Andrew Law developed an early appreciation for the traditional and classical architecture characterized by Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and Poplar Forest. However, it was during his education in Charleston, South Carolina that he discovered a deeper interest in interior design fueled by the historic city’s architecture, antiques, and decorative arts.
After receiving a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design at The George Washington University in 2000, he launched his Washington, DC based firm. Commissions have ranged from primary city residences to Mid-Atlantic country homes to Northeastern beach houses. The firm is currently engaged on projects in Virginia, New York, Rhode Island, San Francisco, and Bangkok.
“An emphasis on architectural integrity is the cornerstone of our projects – residences which seek to convey a distinct and informed concept. A well edited mix of antiques, art, and tailored upholstery combine to create refined yet approachable interiors.”
