  • "Linda T.: Hi Linda , I can cut the base plates off and change the angle so it stands near vertical . weld on new plates to attach it to the floor or you can hold it to the wall with a wire type fastener. I can reduce the length somewhat by altering the top as well to accommodate your height as well. This will change the angle of the treads somewhat but not drastically. I have a machine shop so anything is possible."

  • "Joseph, Thanks for all the dimensions. I wanted to get back to you and let you know that I think this piece is extraordinary but I just can't figure out where I can put it that it can lean that far from the wall. If I come up with a spot, I won't hesitate. Linda"

  • "Thanks for your trouble. I will take some measurements at the office tomorrow. I appreciate it."

  • "Linda T.: I figured after I wasted half an hour of lessons best I went to my place and got you the right measurements. The ladder was steep as you can imagine so I leveled it out to gain some distance at the base before welding on the plates. Total length is 106", distance from the wall at the base to the center of the base plate is 41" to the wall and the vertical length standing in place is 97""

  • "Joseph, One more question. When you give me the leaning height...could you tell me how far from the wall the base extends? Thanks again. Linda"

  • "Hi Joseph, Happy New Year. Can you please tell me how high a ceiling would need to be if this ladder was leaned against a wall? I realize it is 9' long and would require 108" if flat. What I am trying to figure out if a 105" ceiling would be high enough when the ladder is placed at its natural angle. My geometry just isn't good enough. Thanks, Linda"
