  • "Can you ship to Montreal ,Canada. And how much? Thanks .it is a coffe table or dining table?"

    Nov. 24, 2017, 10:36 a.m.

  • "Gary h H.: Hi Gary I would contact Chairish support about shipping cost to Duluth. They are handling shipment for this item. I can assure you that even if you pay 1k for shipping, you’d still be getting a major deal. it is really a win win situation for the buyer. I have it priced low b/c of a deadline with the warehouse people holding it for me on the west coast. Too Long of a story for here but believe me I’m losing a lot of money at this asking price and this is a fluke sort of situation."

    Nov. 12, 2017, 12:26 p.m.

  • "Otto Binx: Thanks for all your efforts Otto. Those prices kill the deal. As I mentioned in my previous note I could pick up the item at a shipper's terminal in Duluth Minnesota if that would make a significant difference, but we would need to get the shiping down to $500 maximum. All the best,"

    Nov. 12, 2017, noon

  • "Gary h H.: to be honest my shipper quoted me 989... I asked why and was told it had to do with your zip code... ?"

    Nov. 11, 2017, 6:07 p.m.

  • "Otto, It says $799 which is too much. One of your previous notes to me said you were working on a shipping quote. What did that produce? If necessary, to get shipping down I could pick the item up at a shipping terminal in Duluth Minnesota or Superior WIsconsin which are 50 or so miles away from me and I know they have freight line terminals."

    Nov. 11, 2017, 5:54 p.m.

  • "Gary h H.: hi Gary shipping will be handled by Chairish for this one. You should see a quote to your zip code up there that Chairish calculates automatically. What does it say?"

    Nov. 11, 2017, 5:35 p.m.

  • "Otto Binx: Otto-Did you get a shipping quote for me yet? I am ready to buy this at the current price of $529 if there is a fair and firm shipping price quoted. I am sure thelegs come off easily so shipping should not be a crazy price. Please let me know."

    Nov. 11, 2017, 4:27 p.m.

  • "Gary h H.: hi Gary, yes 55” is the widest point if 94”is the longest, if that makes any sense. Triangle table in a triangle room sounds perfect :). Sudden coldness here as well (and I like it). Working on a shipping quote for you at the moment . All best otto"

    Nov. 7, 2017, 11:39 p.m.

  • "Otto Binx: Got your message, thanks. I am confused about the table's dimensions. Is the 55 inch dimension stated in the original description the dimension from the 90 degree corner to the middle of the hypotenuse? Anyhow, trying to figure out if the dimensions will work for me in a triangular shaped room. Also frantically getting ready for an early arrival of winter here this year."

    Nov. 7, 2017, 7:40 p.m.

  • "Gary h H.: hi gary! Did you receive my answers to your questions? I know that the messaging system here sometimes drops messages. All best Otto ."

    Nov. 7, 2017, 9:51 a.m.

  • "Gary h H.: hi Gary! Yes still available. Good vintage condition. I see no visible cracks or stains to glass or legs. Yes the hypotenuse of the table is 94..5 ‘ long, the other sides are 72” long. Height is almost 29”. Corners are rounded so not sure if it still counts as 90 degrees. Sure we can deliver it to you, no worries. Thanks, Otto"

    Nov. 6, 2017, 12:11 p.m.

  • "Please advise if this table is still available. Also please advise clear height below glass top to floor. Also confirm no chips in glass top, leather on all three legs in good condition as shown on one leg pictured and shipping cost to Iron River, Wisconsin 54847. Also please confirm there is one 90 degree angle on the table and advise length of each side adjacent to that 90 degree angle. I am seriously interested in this item."

    Nov. 6, 2017, 7:50 a.m.

  • "As I said before, we live in the Bay Area, and would like to see the table before purchase. When we last conversed, you said it was being shipped back to New York. Since it is still out here, we would like to make arrangements to see it. Thank you..."

    Nov. 6, 2017, 7:04 a.m.

  • "derkbrill@apr.com: yes pls choose local delivery option at check out. Thx Otto"

    Nov. 6, 2017, 6:07 a.m.

  • "Is the table still in the Bay Area?"

    Nov. 5, 2017, 8:37 a.m.

  • "Mary W.: I don’t sell products, Mary. I’m not a shopkeeper nor do I have a storefront. My background is in academia. My inventory is carefully curated from near and far. I show items by appt in NY and, when possible, other locals. Yes, if you compare my business to your local antique shop, it might seem strange. What I do is more akin to an art dealer or curator. I hope this helps."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 8:01 p.m.

  • "The truth is that it was getting too weird trying to figure out where you were, where the product was and how to see the product. As stated from the beginning - I don't want to buy sight unseen. Your business model seems strange to me."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 7:05 p.m.

  • "Mary W.: Hi Mary W., Good to year from you! I thought you ‘bailed’ because you are in Southern California and decided to go to Palm Springs, ‘“closer to San Diego,” to find something else? I apologize if there was any confusion or misunderstanding. All best, otto"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 7:02 p.m.

  • "Yeah, I ended up bailing on a piece also because the entire wanting to see the piece just got too complicated and the whole location thing was confusing."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 6:41 p.m.

  • "derkbrill@apr.com: I know it might seem silly, but it’s not: If I finalize transport, which I must do because I can no longer store the table in its current location starting next week, and then cancel less than 3 days prior to pick up I’m responsible for at least half of the cost of transport. It’s not fair to put myself in a position where if I sell it at an extremely low price,, I then also have to pay over 500 bucks in cancellation fees to the transporter."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 12:04 p.m.

  • "Same here. Seems silly to ship it back to NY when you have a local buyer who will most likely buy, but whatever. Good luck. Binx:"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 11:55 a.m.

  • "derkbrill@apr.com: I understand. If you change your mind, please let me know as soon as you can. All best, Otto"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 11:50 a.m.

  • "We really need to see it prior to committing to purchase. Don't need it delivered, we have or own truck and enclosed trailer and live in the Bay Area."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 9:14 a.m.

  • "derkbrill@apr.com: We can have it delivered to you on Thursday? I understand that you want to check it out prior to committing, but I’ve priced it extremely low specifically because of this time crunch. To be completely honest with you, it will cost me more than my asking price to transport it NY! All best, Otto"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 9:02 a.m.

  • "Otto Binx: Thanks, we would need to see it. Can we come this Thursday?"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 8:24 a.m.

  • "derkbrill@apr.com: if memory of trig class serves, if the hypotenuse is 95" and each side is 55" , then the angle between the two 55" sides is 120 degrees."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 8:12 a.m.

  • "derkbrill: Morning! Nope, there are no 90 degree angles and no sharp corners. It's an isosceles triangle with rounded corners. Did you have a chance to check out the new pics I posted? The last four pics are the most accurate in terms of color. Not orange at all. I would say its a lipstick red, darker than fire engine and brighter than burgundy and less orange than brick red."

    Oct. 30, 2017, 7:55 a.m.

  • "Otto Binx: Ouch re timing, we really need to see it before purchasing and are out of state till Wednesday evening. A couple more questions is the back corner, between the two 55" sides, a 90 degree angle? And how would you describe the red - in photos it looks alternately red orange, fire engine, and more to the burgundy. That said, if we see it Thursday and want it, can the shipping be canceled?"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 7:49 a.m.

  • "derkbrill@apr.com: Hello there, I've posted some more pictures for you. If you would like to use the local delivery option, I would need to know before Wednesday. Ideally today (Monday) as I am finalizing the transport details of the table back to NYC. It's currently scheduled to depart on Friday Nov 3. It's a gorgeous table and a major deal. Last time this table was available on the market, it sold for almost 5,000 USD. :)"

    Oct. 30, 2017, 6:03 a.m.

  • "We are back in the Bay Area on Wednesday and can Go see it on Thursday. Please let us know where it can be seen."

    Oct. 29, 2017, 8:43 p.m.

  • "Pat B.: Also, added a few more pics for you in the post. It's a stunner. If by chance you're also in the market for a coffee table, I have a gorgeous Vignelli Kono table (https://www.chairish.com/product/778498/massimo-lella-vignelli-for-casigliani-kono-table) in your area as well, and we can combine delivery. :)"

    Oct. 29, 2017, 5:53 p.m.

  • "Pat B.: I'm in NY, but this table is in the warehouse of my colleague in Bay Area. It was supposed to go down to Malibu for a project but plans changed. It's actually booked to come back to me in NY on Friday Nov 3, so the much more affordable "local delivery" option will only be available to you for the next few days!"

    Oct. 29, 2017, 5:46 p.m.

  • "Pat B.: Hi Pat! Sure, it's 94" on the long side and 54.5" on the shorter sides of the triangle. Height is typical dining/ desk height of 28.5". Cassina, when marketing the table during it's short run, used the (incorrect) term "scalene" to describe its shape. It's actually an isosceles triangle! Reply cont'd above..."

    Oct. 29, 2017, 5:30 p.m.

  • "Pat B.:"

    Oct. 29, 2017, 5:17 p.m.

  • "Can you give me the dimensions of the two back sides? Are they equal? I’m in MountainViw and would like to come by to see it. How do I find you?"

    Oct. 29, 2017, 5:08 p.m.

  • "Can you give me the dimensions of the two back sides? Are they equal? I’m in Mountain Viw and would like to come by for a look. Where are you located."

    Oct. 29, 2017, 5:07 p.m.

  • "Mary W.: ok I understand"

    Oct. 15, 2017, 2:58 p.m.

  • "Yeah, I'm a touch and feel kind of person when it comes to furniture. That is one of the few problems with Chairish. They make the return easy but it is still a hassle. Don't want to get involved unless I am sure it is a keeper."

    Oct. 15, 2017, 12:53 p.m.

  • "Mary W.: sure, are you trying to pick up in person? Delivery will be quite affordable to you. Let me know and I can get a quote for you."

    Oct. 15, 2017, 12:50 p.m.

  • "OK. I am going to make a trip to Palm Springs and see if I can find something closer to San Diego. If not, I'll reach out to you again."

    Oct. 15, 2017, 12:34 p.m.

  • "Mary W.: yep, San Fran area"

    Oct. 15, 2017, 3:20 a.m.

  • "Where in CA? San Fran area? LA area? Palm Springs area? Or somewhere else?"

    Oct. 14, 2017, 9:35 p.m.

  • "Mary W.: This Table is in California though! I have inventory stored ina few different locations :)"

    Oct. 14, 2017, 7:33 p.m.

  • "Too bad. I am in San Diego. I have a new Cassina sofa and the coffee table would be prefect with it."

    Oct. 14, 2017, 7:32 p.m.

  • "Mary W.: Hi! I’m based in NYC. How about yourself ?"

    Oct. 14, 2017, 7:15 p.m.

  • "Is your shop in NY or CA?"
