moreVintage Camaleonda Sofa designed by Mario Bellini in the 1970s, fully restored inside and out and newly upholstered with luxury Italian boucle' in a blue color. The set is composed by three independent elements, two featuring one armrest each. Original labels present at the bottom.
Dimensions: each element is 35.4” by 35.4” inches. Height 25", seat height 15" . Three independent elements. The Camaleonda independent elements are not connected to each other, you can arrange in different ways.
Material: Italian boucle', sourced in Italy, a blend of viscose, wool, linen, cotton and synthetic.

The Camaleonda Sofa is a very popular design among stylists and interior designers and one most instagrammed sofa of our times! It was designed in 1970 by architect Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, and it went out of production in 1979 to be re-editioned again 30 years later. Architect Mario Bellini won 8 Compasso D’Oro awards and claims about 25 of his designs in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He collaborated with the most influential Italian furniture companies, and was editor of Domus, a prominent design magazine from 1985 to 1991. He then dedicated his activity to Architecture creating projects like the Islamic Art Center at the Louvre, the Tokyo Design Center in Japan, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and many other domestic and International projects. Some of his most successful furniture designs were in collaboration with Cassina and B&B Italia.
