  • "Kyung: We are marketing the table as mahogany. The base is colored, so it is hard to tell. I believe the base will be mahogany. The top could be Tawi wood, but I can not be confident. I know Edward Wormley used Tawi for tables of this period. I have seen other tables marketed as Tawi. The wood appears exotic. I am not sure of the actual wood. I agree, the grain and color do not appear to be mahogany. It is a beautiful table."
