This item arrived to me from an online estate sale (who will remain nameless but they definitely sell everything online- just not the house ).... in said condition. it is in amazing shape for its age and was well taken care of until they decided to dismantle the frame and ship it to me. to my chagrin it arrived in the tube-rolled as you can see within the photos. This item has been in a frame ever since hanging uprightand on the wall. I have not attempted to flatten it out at all- though have researched and even the museum curators dish out the same advice---weight it down and it will eventually go flat. I am in t4 process of moving and need to purge, so this project goes on to another!
The photos are of the item in which i purchased online--and then the photos which arrived at my place..and since has been untouched minus safely residing between two pieces of glass. this should give you an idea of what the end result will hopefully be after its reconstructive stretching!! thanks for looking! less
