This design was made according to the model 2212 designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia. Stouby is a company that has been an integral part of the Danish and international furniture scene for many generations. The story of Stouby is a true Danish furniture fairy tale. This classic piece of furniture is well known to people who love Scandinavian designs from the Mid-century Modern. It is the embodiment of the Danish design thought of this period. The generous seat and high sides provide a comfortable place to rest, has carefully selected proportions. The sofa is not huge but very elegant. Upholstered with natural black leather with a beautiful and natural patina. The edge line is complemented by a leather trim. The legs are made of solid wood. This model has quite masculine and simple aesthetics, but due to lightness and small size it does not dominate the space. It perfectly match into an elegant living room, small apartment or office. The sofa is so simple that it blends in with any interior, and so beautiful that it makes a strong presence. In fact, it becomes less of an accessory and more of an integral part of any room it place in. It is without a doubt a timeless classic.
