Offered for consideration is an oversize lamp by the Laurel Lamp Mfg. Co. featuring a sculptural bulbous form. The lamp body is formed from cased satin glass on a nickel base. The base has an internal 15 watt bulb that illuminates the body in addition to the standard sockets at the top. This design is heavily influenced by the work Max Ingrand did for Fontana Arte in 1954. Little details like the lucite pulls make this even more of a showstopper. It appears this lamp is meant to use a shade that covers a significant part of the glass neck.
Very good vintage condition. There is no damage to the glass with the exception of some minor surface scratches and rub marks. There are no cracks and no chips. One of the lucite pulls has some internal cracking, but it is in no danger of breaking apart.
The wiring is original and in working condition. The cord is still pliable with apparent cracking or exposed wire. Even with the previous being stated, we always have to professional inspection prior to use. With purchase, the buyer is accepting this responsibility.
The lamp can operate with just the base on or the base and the top on at the same time. There isn't a max wattage listed on the lamp, but I'd suggest staying at 100 watts for the pull chain sockets. The internal bulb will fit a 15 watt or less bulb.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
