​The face of the cabinet showcases carved relief figures of perched songbirds, delicate cherry blossoms, and lush botanicals crafted from semi-precious stone materials such as soapstone, jade, and mother-of-pearl accents. Framing the interior and exterior doors and outer borders are intricate hand-painted golden Greek key fretwork motifs and traditional floral vines, offering a sophisticated contrast to the deep lacquer finish.
​The piece features a two-tier four-door configuration with original brass tear-drop hardware pulls, sitting atop a matching black lacquered stand with carved apron details and curved cabriole-style feet. The interior comes with one shelf for easy storage. The cabinet sits on top of the base so it's removable. The back of the cabinet had a hole cut into the backing most likely for media cords and such.
