Made in Japan, the porcelain plate combines a deep blue center with a rich oxblood red border, gold foliate decoration, rope detailing, and repeating monogram motifs.

At the center is a beautifully detailed neoclassical armchair upholstered in rich red and gold tones, giving the plate the feeling of a miniature decorative work of art. I especially love these displayed rather than tucked away in a cabinet—the bold color, intricate pattern, and wonderful chair motif make them fantastic pieces for a vignette, plate wall, bookshelf, or tabletop display.
