The pattern flatters the design of the room … more The abstract, geometric composition creates the simple elegance of this Turkoman Rug. The pattern flatters the design of the room and does not take the attention away from its furniture, decoration and architectural elements. It creates a pleasant atmosphere without dominating the style of the room. The repeating elements in the center field of this Turkoman Rug rug have no specific center (so-called repeating pattern). The repeating pattern has a calming but not boring effect. Rugs with repeating patterns are also called patterned. The embellished edging (border) forms a glorious contrast to the center and creates a transition at the edge of the rug. The background of this Turkoman Rug is dark blue. The border features dark brown, dark red and dark blue. You are not the first to appreciate this Turkoman Rug. It has had owners before you who have cherished and used it. It was hand knotted about 1940. It has been thoroughly cleaned and only partially restored condition but is in good condition. We have not completely restored this Turkoman Rug because we think it is as it is effect. The pile of this Turkoman Rug has been hand-knotted from high-quality virgin wool. Virgin wool is obtained through the gentle shearing of sheep. Virgin wool is a sustainable, natural raw material with a number of impressive properties; due to the wool's natural fat content, the surface repels water droplets and is thus naturally impervious to dirt. Wool also offers excellent thermal insulation, has a regulating effect on living climate and muffles sound. The backing (weft and warp threads) of this Turkoman Rug is made of virgin wool. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
