The graceful vegetative symbols representing flowers, leaves and branches are artfully intertwined. The edge of the rug is decorated with an edging (border). The border forms a excellent contrast to the center. The recurring pattern (so-called repeating pattern) flatters the design of the room and does not take attention away from the furniture, the decoration and architectural elements. It blends in fantastically with any surroundings and subtly complements the interior design of a room\. In this Re-import Sarough the repeating elements give way to the symmetrical medallion in the center of the panel. The background of this Re-import Sarough is rusty red. The border features dark blue and rusty red. The light brown center combines the colors rusty red and dark blue.This Re-import Sarough has had admirers before you. It was hand knotted about 1920. It has been thoroughly cleaned and only partially restored condition but is in good condition. We have not completely restored this Re-import Sarough because we think it is as it is a special charm. If you would like, we will of course restore the rug further for you. We can restore almost any rug to an almost perfect condition. The pile of this Re-import Sarough has been hand-knotted from high-quality virgin wool. Virgin wool is obtained through the gentle shearing of sheep. Virgin wool is a sustainable, natural raw material with a number of impressive properties; due to the wool's natural fat content, the surface repels water droplets and is thus naturally impervious to dirt. Wool also offers excellent thermal insulation, has a regulating effect on living climate and muffles sound. The weft and warp threads of this Re-import Sarough are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and stretchable and, therefore, ideal for a durable backing fabric. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
