Antique National Cash Register Model 532-EL-3C
Serial number: 938178
This Machine was made around 1910. It has been sitting at an estate in Point Loma for nearly 50 years.
The casing of this register is made of brass. The entire machine weighs roughly 300 pounds.
I purchased a set of keys for the register, but unfortunately I haven’t had any luck getting it open. A few of the keys seem to turn freely, so I’m unsure whether the lock mechanism may be jammed or if the keys are not the correct fit. At this point, I believe the register itself may be stuck or in need of servicing.
