moreGorgeous three-piece sectional sofa by Frank and Sons NY from the late 1960s. In the style of Adrian Pearsall's gondola sofa.
Wood trimmed front, low profile, angled ends and tapered legs. The set includes two sofa pieces and a corner table. The sofa with the shorter cushion is meant to be able to slide under the table if needed.
The table itself is a lightweight laminate and is original to the set. The sofa's are heavy, solid construction and were just reupholstered in a soft, cotton upholstery fabric which is almost identical to the original fabric. This set sat in an artist's studio for most of its life. Very few marks in the wood and fabric/foam are brand new! It is a fantastic and extremely versatile set!

Unlike most Mid-Century dealers, we go over every inch of our pieces before they leave our showroom. Wood pieces undergo a 5 step restoration process to clean, nourish, remove scuffing/paint, hydrate, and bring out the original finish. All joints are tightened, drawers are cleaned, missing hardware replaced, and all metal/chrome polished. We keep our items as authentic as possible. In our opinion sanding and staining a designer Mid-Century piece will only diminish the value as the vintage authenticity and character is lost.
Upholstered items are professionally cleaned and new dust fabric added underneath. If the original fabric is not in near perfect condition then we will re-upholster the item in a high quality period appropriate fabric.
We never sell Mid-Century reproductions. All of our items are 40-70 years old and in excellent condition, however some vintage character from use should be expected. less
