Early Industrial style swivel desk chair made in the USA by Steelcase, circa 1930’s.
The chair features an adjustable upholstered back rest, and the upholstered seat is adjustable in height ( 17.5”/21.5” ). The chair rotates a full 360 degrees and the base has its original wheel castor feet, allowing it to roll and swivel.
This example is in very good condition, fully functional and surprisingly comfortable.
The base is in later, but not new black paint finish, which shows wear and loss, normal and consistent with age.
