This is a neoclassical style dining table pedestal by Drexel Heritage as part of its 1990s Corbel Collection.
The neoclassical pedestal features architectural elements rendered in stone with wrought iron scrolls ending in acanthus leaf motifs.
The pedestal is in very good vintage condition with some minor scuffing on the wrought iron pieces. It's difficult to identify any flaws in the piece due to the intentionally distressed aesthetic. Please see photos for more details about condition.
The pedestal is designed to be used singly under a round glass table top or as a pair under an oval glass top. I've also seen these pedestals used as side tables or center tables with smaller glass tops.
The pedestal measures 29.5" tall and 27" diameter. It is heavy.
