Interesting abstract A/P "Yanabito" By Martha Slaymaker, dated 1974.

Materials: Ink on paper, collagraph. Art alone is W 14.75" x H 20.75".
Martha Slaymaker (1935-1999) was born in Saratoga, Indiana in 1935, and during her life was a painter, printmaker and teacher, she also spent a great deal of her childhood residing in Indiana then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1976, where she died in 1999 following a long battle with cancer.
Slaymaker received her formal training at Edinboro College, PA; and also studied at Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio and John Herron School of Art, Indiana University, Indiana.
She was featured in Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who in the West and International Who's Who of Professional Women.
She had many solo and group exhibitions in the United States and internationally, and her work is displayed in both private and public collections, both nationally and internationally.
