Designed by Danish designer Erik Buck in the classic mid-century style, Buck's designs are characterized by an organic and curved form language. The No. 49 chair (designed in 1949) was one of Buck's first successes. The model is characterized by its floating seat.
During his creative period, Buck was virtually unknown, which is why little information about the designer is available. Not even the year of his death is definitively known (1973 or 1982). His work was only rediscovered through the revival of Scandinavian mid-century design.
Frame made of solid teak. Upholstered in fabric.
Very good condition. Covers with minimal discoloration. This piece has an attribution mark,
