This set of 12 Rock Sharpe glasses in the Halifax pattern can be used as water or wine goblets. The Halifax crystal pattern was produced by Rock Sharpe primarily in the 1940s, though some accounts place its span from the late 1930s into the 1950s. Since Rock Sharpe specialized in cutting and finishing glass rather than making it, blanks were supplied by companies like Libbey, who later acquired Sharpe in 1947. Halifax is distinguished by its clear crystal with etched floral motifs on the bowl, a zig-zag cut stem, and a glossy, deeply detailed finish.
