  • "I certainly will. Regards, Kathleen"

  • "Kathleen: Reach out to us this week if you get any samples. We'll get you the sofa you want and do the deal on Chairish. That's what provides the most comfort to both buyer and seller. hj"

    July 13, 2016, 12:20 p.m.

  • "Krista M.: The customer is very interested in this sofa but in a different fabric. The plan is to do the sale through Chairish as it gives both parties a level of comfort. That's also the reason we have only communicated through Chairish. I can understand your position but if Chairish wants to move into high end expensive furniture some communication between the parties needs to be allowed to give the customers comfort. best henrik"

  • "Hi, Guess I cannot see the samples. I have just been told."

  • "Kathleen: Hi Kathleen - We will be sending you the samples this week - just waiting for them to arrive from Poland where after we will overnight them. If you could also let us know a last them for the shipping label? best Henrik"

  • "Hello, The samples will be helpful. Ecru and white would work best. Mailing address: 9659 E. Perry Center Rd Mt. Horeb, WI 53572 Regards, Kathleen"

    July 1, 2016, 4:04 a.m.

  • "Kathleen: We will be able to send you samples and measurements next week. The fabric would be a blend of merino and cashmere, comes in white, ecru, light brown and light blue"

    June 30, 2016, 9:12 p.m.

  • "Hello, The 2-seater, possibly 2-1/2-seater would work, the 3-seater would be too large. Can you advise, what fabric choices I would have? Kathleen"

    June 30, 2016, 4:55 p.m.

  • "Kathleen: I will get the dimensions hopefully by tomorrow. Looking at the pictures I have we have a love-seat (2-seater) similar to the one on Chairish, a 2 1/2 seater and two 3-seaters coming in."

    June 29, 2016, 6:52 p.m.

  • "Pictures would be most helpful, dimension is available. I may still wish to go with this sofa, but it will make my decision more informed. Regards, Kathleen"

    June 29, 2016, 1:01 p.m.

  • "Kathleen: Hi Kathleen. The company Slagelse Moebelvaerk that produced the sofas was in business from around 1931 to 1978. Our picker in Denmark lives 12 miles from the old factory so we buy every banana sofa we find. We have four coming in around July 20. chairish does not allow for us to exchange e-mails but I will ask them if they can forward on pictures to you. All four would need re-upholstery which we can do"

    June 29, 2016, 11:20 a.m.

  • "Can you provide information on the couches you are receiving in mid July? It would help me decide upon this one at $4000, or, perhaps one that is coming. Regards, Kathleen"

    June 28, 2016, 5:22 p.m.

  • "Kathleen: It's a bit smaller and cuter! We have used the fabric for about 2 years and have not had any complaints. It's dense and soft and maintains it's shape well. Wool is the ultimate luxury but can be susceptible to pilling especially pure wool. The wool fabrics we have only found in Poland and they are not rated for rubs etc so it's hard to know exactly how they wear - although we suspect well. Could be upholstered in wool down the road - we can supply the wool affordably"

    June 28, 2016, 11:46 a.m.

  • "Hello, I love the shape of the featured sofa, and the size is perfect for my living space. I thank you for your honesty in correcting the facbic content to reflect the wool blend, vs all wool. I believe I would be happier with an all wool upholstery, my belief based on the frequent use the sofa will have, and assuming the 100% wool would stand up better. Please advise otherwise, if I an incorrect. The $4000 asking price is tempting, but your advise would be helpful Kathleen"

    June 28, 2016, 10:24 a.m.

  • "Kathleen: Thanks for your kind offer and apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately I misrepresented the sofa the other day as the fabric is actually a wool/poly blend according to my wife. While still a wonderful sofa we will discount it to $4,000. We have another 2 Slagelse sofas of various sizes coming into our warehouse by mid July any of which we could reupholster in a fantastic blend of merino and cashmere for you. Happy to send fabric samples. Apologies once again. Henrik"

    June 27, 2016, 6:29 p.m.

  • "Hello, I submitted an offer to purchase, but have not received a response. Please advise if you considering a counter offer. Regards, Kathleen"

    June 27, 2016, 4:44 p.m.

  • "I wish that were so, I am not close."

    June 21, 2016, 10:47 a.m.

  • "Kathleen: Hi Kathleen, yes we buy the sofas from various sources in Denmark such as auctions and have them fully refurbished and upholstered in Poland. So the fabric on this sofa is new - never been sat in. Are you close to CT by any chance in case you would like to take a look at it? best henrik"

    June 21, 2016, 10:33 a.m.

  • "Hello Henrik, Thank you for the information about the upholstery. Is the upholstery newly done, and was the piece been refurbished at that time? Thank you again, Kathleen"

    June 21, 2016, 3:56 a.m.

  • "Kathleen: Hi Kathleen - thank you for taking interest in this piece. The sofa is covered in a fabric made in Poland from 100% certified Australian merino wool. The fabric looks and feels much like lambs fur, but is much easier to work with and offers some cost saving compared to lambs fur. best Henrik"

    June 20, 2016, 2:47 p.m.

  • "Hello, What do you mean by lambswool? Is it hides or wool fabric? Or, something else. thank you."
