  • "Angela nisi M.: OK Angela, posted half a dozen pix at the listing, with the measuring tape in photos, am limited to communicate by Chairish's platform... these should give you what you need, I hope, it references all of the bed pieces , measurements from the floor up, sideboard interiors with original screws. Please note, screwholes in head/footboard do NOT pass all the way through the wood, other side are the decorative carved feet. Am around, Best Susan"

  • "Angela nisi M.: Hi Again Angela, difficult to explain the screw holes.... they were made long ago, not standard for todays frames ( could get lucky...), let me get some pix up (batteries should be charged), you'll understand when you see them. Susan"

  • "Well I unfortunately can't buy it unless I have the measurement for the screw holes. I don't need pictures just the measurements. And I'm willing to pay full price if the measurement works. Thanks!"

  • "Angela nisi M.: Long Island, we're in S Jersey, so the $125. we quoted is fine. There is another offer on Chairish for the bed, batteries charging for the camera (sorry), my best counsel, you can take it to carpenter for adjustments to your frame, if you don't use the sideboards, they can be used as decorative elements/pediments in another way ~ our specialty. Let us know , we countered on the other offer... Best, Susan"

  • "Great thank you! I'm in Port Washington, NY How much will the estimated shipping be?"

    April 30, 2016, 7:30 a.m.

  • "Angela nisi M.:Hi Angela, length of sideboards is 74.25" tip to tip (not incl. part the slides into headboard. Will take some photos today and post of the screw assembly on the headboard, holes are embedded on interior of sideboards and head/footboard so they cannot be seen when assembled, will photo with measuring tape so you can see, look at the listing later today. Can you please let us know what city/state you are in case of shipping. Thanks, Susan"

  • "Hi Susan Thank you so much for getting back to me right away. My bed is a queen 60" W x 78" L. How long are the side boards? I'm assuming they may be too short to use... And how many inches between the bolt holes on the head board and foot board? I want to make sure I can at least bolt the head and food board to my metal frame. I'm serious about buying the bed. Just want to make sure it works!!! Fingers crossed!! Thanks!!!!!"

  • "Angela nisi M.: Hi, Depends on the size of your mattresses (would have to measure and give you the exact interior frame measurements), there are other ways to adapt, headboard and footboard can be bolted to a metal queen frame, you would have to decide if you wanted the footboards, you can also google ways to do it ( am limited here by space to write..). All antique beds were full size or twin, queen and king weren't made until the 1960's, antique beds are always adapted for current size larger beds. Susan"

  • "How would this be adapted to fit a queen size bed? I want to purchase this but I need to make sure I can do the adaptation myself. If you can explain it to me I would appreciate it! Thank you!"
