  • "So sorry for the inconvenience. On my end it says the counter was submitted 8-29. It's not giving me the option to send the counter again. I think if you resubmit your offer it will then give the option to counter or accept. Again, sorry it didn't get to you the first time. I'll follow up w/ Chairish asap. Thanks"

    Sept. 2, 2016, 2:42 p.m.

  • "I can't find your counter. Can you send it again? I see the site prohibits direct exchange of email to protect its interest in each transaction. Cumbersome"

    Sept. 2, 2016, 2:30 p.m.

  • "Philip H.: Hi Philip. I lowered the price, but I sent a counter offer directly to you. It is my understanding that the website then notifies you with the counter offer. Please let me know if you did not receive notice of the counter. Thanks!"

    Sept. 2, 2016, 1:52 p.m.

  • "What's the "bid and ask" spread on the table now. This is my first use of chairish. I offered 750 a few days ago and the "buy it now" price came down from 1250 to 1080, but I do not see any consolidated hx of bid and ask. Thanks"

    Sept. 2, 2016, 1:15 p.m.

  • "Philip H.: I have posted an additional close up picture of the area in question. It appears to be old worm wood which adds to the character of the table. The width between the legs on the wider side of the table is 35". On the narrower ends the width between the legs is 18.5". The legs are set in creating an apron top."

    Sept. 1, 2016, 1:22 p.m.

  • "Philip H.: Chairs can fit around it. It does narrow on the ends so it depends on the width of your chairs. The table is in storage. I am happy to measure the width between the legs and check on the circular stain that you asked about. Will be in touch!"

    Sept. 1, 2016, 6:41 a.m.

  • "Philip H.: It is more of an oval shape. It is 54" wide when fully extended, depth of 45.75". It is very versatile... Would make a great card table, breakfast table or console if you drop the leaves."

    Sept. 1, 2016, 6:36 a.m.

  • "Is there a circular stain on the left hand side of the "near" leaf shown in the photos? The spot -about 7" in diameter- shows in all photos, but most prominently in the third photo from the left in the array."

    Sept. 1, 2016, 5:15 a.m.

  • "Is the top round when open? Would it work as a card table? What's the open diameter of the top?"

    Sept. 1, 2016, 5:01 a.m.

  • "When it is open, is the top true round? If so, what's the diameter? Is the leg configuration such that it could be used as a card table when open?"

    Sept. 1, 2016, 5 a.m.

  • "Simona H.: The overhang on the opposite end of leaves is 8". The distance between the legs on the narrow ends is 18.5". Didn't get the measurement on the other side, but it is obviously wider and will fit a chair. Height from bottom of apron to ground is 23.75". Hope this helps. Happy to answer any additional questions."

    May 8, 2016, 7:17 a.m.

  • "Yes please. The ends opposite the leaf. As well, if you could provide the distance between the legs on both sides that would be very helpful. Thank you!"

    May 7, 2016, 3:31 p.m.

  • "Simona H.: Hi Simone. Just want to clarify what measurements you are looking for. Each leaf measures approx. 11.12". Do you need the measurement for the overhang on the ends opposite the leaves? The table is in storage, but I can get that information as well as distance from apron to ground to you over the weekend. I'm guessing the apron is approx. 4". I do know that dining chairs with a 19" seat height fit comfortably around the table."

    May 7, 2016, 12:28 p.m.

  • "can you please tell me the overhang distance on the ends, as well as the distance from the ground to the bottom of the skirt. Thank"

    May 7, 2016, 11:45 a.m.

  • "Deborah A.: I just updated listing with pictures of peg detail and underside. It was purchased from a reputable antique dealer in Charleston, SC and were told mid to late 1800's."

    May 6, 2016, 10:05 a.m.

  • "Hello! Do you have a picture of the bottom of the table? Is it pegged? Rough estimate of the year made? Thanks~"
