This is a glorious 1974 First Edition Chagall monograph, published both in Paris (Maeght) and in New York by Leon Amiel This oversized, 215-page, hardcover includes a lustrous, two-page original, color lithograph at frontis. The original litho, on art paper, is nothing short of amazing!
The illustrations that follow are in vibrant color and in black-and-white. All of them are clean and bright and so entrancing! Under the dust jacket, there's a yellow decorative cloth cover with embossed titles. There's also quite a lot of text inside, if you'd like to know more about this great artist.
This edition is in very good vintage condition. The only remark is some minor wear to the dust jacket edges an a shallow crease on the front. .
Chagall's art works are so full of whimsy and hopefulness - a great antidote for times like these.
This is a great find for lovers of Chagall, like me, and for collectors of 20th Century artists.
The book will be carefully packed and sent with tracking.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
