Original string shelf designed in 1949 by nils strinning in ash veneer. The system consists of five metal ladders in black with four shelves, a container with two drawers and a container with a folding door and various storage compartments. The top was coated with formica in cream white.
this original string shelf is significantly better made and of better quality than many wall shelves that came onto the market in the 50s/60s.
