"Sometimes I imagine I’m making a painting that would fit into decor in an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Not that the painting is dark or spooky or anything - but watch his movies - the interiors are always so great. Neat with good materials. Carefully set up, even if it’s meant to be cluttered. This painting is one of those pieces.
