The buffet has an extendable serving shelf. Its top center drawer has built-in storage for silverware. We are downsizing and this cannot come to our new, small home. We’ve loved it for years and our family will miss its beauty and functionality. It fit everything from my dishes to my tablecloths to glassware to vases to serving pieces. Even some holiday decorations were in it. See less

The wood is still beautiful and has a rich finish. The drawers all slide smoothly. The interior lights function perfectly. Full disclosure: On the top of the buffet cabinet, underneath the display hutch, there is a scratch that I cannot be seen unless you remove the hutch from the buffet. I included a photo of the scratch. But it’s not at all visible when the units are put together as they are intended to be. less
