The chairs were first produced in the 1930s, ergonomically built and made specifically for workers using the company’s industrial ironing machines. They have streamlined bent flat steel frames and yellow composite seats and pivoting back rests. The "Health" chair first gained prominence in the design world when it was added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and was included in their Introduction To Twentieth Century Design in 1959. Almost 100 years later, this iconic chair endures as sought-after design. The chairs are unmarked. See less
