This box has superb craftsmanship that the lid and the base fit together so well that not even a thin piece of paper could be placed between them. The high polish of this semi-precious stone box remains shiny and brilliant. The Tiger Eye is lined on the inside with a thin layer of polished quartz crystal stone on all sides, top and bottom. The bottom of the piece shows the quartz crystal. The hinge is solid brass. Signed on paper label on the bottom: Occhio Tigre, meaning Tiger Eye in Italian.

EXCELLENT CONDITION. This box is in extraordinary condition and appears to have been barely used. There are natural inclusions in the Tiger Eye on the top of the box that appear to be cracks but are part of the natural stone inclusions ... please see photos.
