It features an intricate geometric composition of squares, bands, diagonals and lines perfected in a subtle palette of grays and sparingly used primary and complimentary colors.

Madeline Weiss:
Noted for her experimenting geometrical abstractions both in painting and sculpture Madeline Weiss was born on July 5, 1926 in New York, NY. She became a well-known artist, after studying with Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed (proteges of Hans Hofmann) at Community Art Center in New York City. She was the Founding President of the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Women Artists, past President of the Artists' Guild of Norton Museum, and a member of the Professional Artists Committee in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her commissions include works in Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, JFK Medical Center in New Jersey, Devonshire Life Living Care Facility in Palm Beach Gardens, FL to name a few. Madeline Weiss was an art instructor at the Jewish Community Center in West Palm Beach, FL and was nominated to the Florida Artists Hall of Fame 1995 and for the Athena Award in 1999.
