Adjustable sawtooth shelving inside the glass doors allows for book storage or item display. The writing surface folds down over three drawers--two larger drawers on the bottom and a "hidden" top drawer with rounded front. Circa 1830s, this secretary would be such a visually stunning (and useful!) addition to any home. At 81 inches tall, but only 20.25 inches deep, it's well proportioned to not overpower your space. Stained in a nice dark wood tone with red undertones, this piece shows minor wear consistent with use and age, but no major flaws. All drawers and doors function smoothly. less

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
