  • "Judith N.: Hi Judith, I completely understand. Please refer to the last 2 images I have uploaded. It does look 'bunched' up but it is not bulky by any means and it actually does look less 'bunchy' in person than trying to snap a photo. In the very last image I have attached, you can see I am holding the 'bunched' section and the cover is all one piece. Basically when the chair is in the chair position the flap, that I am holding, is what goes over the very top when in chair mode. I hope this helps!"

  • "Judith N.: I would love to see a pix of chair in lounge position with leather cover pulled up. Could you please post one? I would be keeping it as a lounger so it has to look "right" in that lounge position, with leather cover pulled up over back. Thanks for your continued correspondence. Judy"

  • "Judith N.: Hi Judith. Thank you for your interest in the Gao Sleeper Chair. It is such a comfortable, wonderfully built chair! I can understand your concern with the 'bunching' but I just went and made the chair a lounge chair and the 'bunching' is not that noticeable, if at all! I wish I could send you a photo so you can see for yourself. It is quite easy to convert into a sleeper chair. The chair is black in color and very well maintained for a vintage item. If you have anymore questions, feel free! :)"

  • "Would like to leave chair in lounge position all the time (see your picture #9). Is that possible without the leather bunched up as shown? I assume chair is black, yes ? (sorry if I missed that, but want to be sure. Thanks for your time in responding. Judy"

  • "Candice: Hi Candice, Chairish should be able to help you with the shipping cost details. It's possible it could be less than double. We have one in storage, and one at our studio which is in excellent vintage condition. No real scratches. I believe the one in storage may have a hairline scratch on the seat. I've added a few more photos. They are such cool pieces!"

  • "I just saw the shipping quote. Would that double for both pieces ?"

    March 21, 2016, 10:35 p.m.

  • "Thanks for getting back with me. We live in Chicago, what would shipping cost be for both items? Also, would you happen to have detailed pics of both? And are there any cosmetic issues? Thank you for your time!"

    March 21, 2016, 10:32 p.m.

  • "Candice: Hi Candice, yes we do! If you'd like to purchase two, let Chairish know and they can arrange that."

    March 21, 2016, 12:30 p.m.

  • "Hello, do you still have two available?"

    March 21, 2016, 12:08 p.m.

  • "Hi Kelly! Yes it is leather with a fabric lining on the part that pulls down covering the mattress. "

    Nov. 25, 2015, 10:41 a.m.

  • "Hello. Is the cover leather? Thanks in advance."
