Home Tour: Inside a Jetsetter’s Luxury Hotel-Inspired Home

Ceramic jars and vases stand next to black marble nesting side tables

For globetrotters around the world who dub hotels as their second home, this worldly, transitional home will provide some serious inspiration. Designed by San Francisco based interior design firm, Adair Design Group, this multi level home features tailored vignettes, eclectic touches, and a well-tailored aesthetic.

The light-filled space features a warm welcoming palette immediately upon arrival. Heavier statement pieces are anchored by a cozy cream sofa.

An avid reader, the owner requested that there be an idyllic place for cozying up to a good book. Carefully curated shelves display beloved objects collected during travel to further highlight the owner’s passion for adventure.

Adair Design Group also sourced an eclectic mix of decor from Chairish to bring the owner’s wanderlust sensibilities to life.

Of course, no home is complete without a home bar. This bar perfectly combines masculine and feminine styles with a rough-hewn credenza and an Hermes tray.

The lofty space features an interconnected master bedroom, living room and workspace, providing a sense of continuity upstairs. A luxurious mix of textiles including a faux fur rug, rich leather bed frame and distressed wood mirror creates a sense of depth and coziness.

We love how the vintage Chairish helmet adds a sharp contrast to the cozy shag rug.

The second level also features its own intimate entertaining space. The custom-made sectional is flanked by warm wood side tables and a chic industrial-style coffee table.

An industrial-style shelving unit provides clever storage solutions, while also looking incredibly chic at the same.
