Vintage items have been previously owned and loved, and will show some level of wear consistent with this prior use. There is some antiqued texture, from the painting technique, on the white globe. We took close up pictures of the texture, but it is not noticeable. The long white area on the same lamp has a few chips near its base. The largest chip is pictured in the last photo. We always suggest taking vintage lighting to your electrician to check on the wiring. The photos serve as an additional description. If I have missed something in my inspection of the piece, please contact me less
