This rare first edition vintage 1990 Maripol hardcover Japanese monograph art book titled " Mes Polas " is an incredibly special and unique unusual book to add to your library collection. The special hardcover art book was published in a very small limited edition in 1990. Published by Art Random Kyoto Shoin International, printed in Japan in 1990.
The book features the original personal polaroid photographic artwork of the multi media artist, photographer, designer, stylist, and extraordinary unique creative force in the 1980's downtown New York City club, fashion, culture and art scene photographed from 1977 - 1990.
Maripol is credited with creating the original iconic visual fashion trend setting style of Madonna as she came onto the scene in the early 1980's. She not only styled Madonna and created her look, she also designed and created all the original accessories worn by Madonna that became iconic trends as well.
Maripol used her polaroid camera to document and chronicle her iconic group of close friends and creative collaborators including Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Jean Michel Basquiat, Madonna, Grace Jones, Debbie Harry, Kenny Scharf, and Sade among others.
The rare 1st edition hardcover collector's art book features a very personal collected vision of her inside expose and highly creative coverage of this outstanding moment in time of the now world famous iconic creative figures.
The book measures 9 1/4" W X 12 1/4" H x 1/4" D, with 48 pages. It is in brand new condition, and is now being offered here for an excellent price.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
